| PACOIMA,
CALIF. -- Some could say that the first hole-in-one
on the Champions Tour this year at the Toshiba Classic
was scored on ‘Impulse,' but it would be more
accurate to say that Harrison's new Impulse
Hybrid delivered the crowd-pleasing ace. The
Top 10 player and past champion of the Toshiba Classic
scored the ace on the 187-yard, par-3 eighth hole
with an Adams hybrid 4-iron fitted with a Harrison
Impulse
shaft. The ace was only the second in the history
of the tournament.
Overall,
Harrison graphite shafts earned two Top 10 money
positions at the Toshiba Classic in Newport Beach,
Calif., with the Impulse and Pro
2.5 shafts taking the highest honors.
"We're
pleased to once again demonstrate such a strong
showing on the Champions Tour. The Pro
2.5 and new Impulse Hybrid shafts continue to
provide veteran pros with the consistency and accuracy
they rely upon to compete successfully," says
Mike Cheng, president of Harrison Sports.
The Pro
2.5 series is well known among PGA professionals
for providing superior distance and accuracy, and
it is found often in the hands of Top 10 winners.
Composed of the boron reinforced X-6200 graphite
material, the Pro 2.5 provides

players
with constant swing power and unmatched performance.
The Harrison Pro
2.5 series shafts feature mid- to high flex
points and 2.5 degrees of torque and are available
in weight options from 50 grams to 95 grams and
flexes from L/A to S/X.
The
Impulse
Hybrid is a particularly unique design that
incorporates a patent-pending Inlay Titanium Matrix
— a thin layer of titanium wrapped around
the shaft's tip section that increases stability,
reduces shaft torque and improves accuracy. Typically,
hybrid-design clubs must withstand greater stress
at impact due to turf contact, so enhanced stability
is a critical design factor that allows the Impulse
shaft to resist distortion upon impact. Impulse
shafts are available in either Fairway Wood or Utility
Iron options.
Harrison
shafts are among the top five of the most-used graphite
shafts in the world. Technologically superior and
eye-catching in appearance, Harrison has become
a popular and growing choice among professionals,
clubmakers and golf enthusiasts. Harrison shafts
are available from more than 1,500 dealers across
the United States. For a dealer near you, please
